BMW B58 coolant leaks behind the intake often trace back to a failing coolant hose connector in the turbocharger cooling system. A cracked plastic fitting can quickly turn into hours of labor when OE procedures require replacing the entire hose assembly.On B58 engines used in BMW vehicles since 2016, the coolant hose connector behind the heat management module consistently fails. What’s New at CRP: ITB Special Edition at AAPEX 2025
Fault code C2217-00 (Electric Power Steering Module Internal) shows up often enough to cause confusion, and it does not always mean the EPS rack is bad. In this Inside the Brands episode, we explain why C2217 can appear as a false positive, common external conditions that trigger it, and the four quick checks you can make before replacing a rack. The goal is to help technicians diagnose accurately, prevent unnecessary replacements, and ensure a verified repair.You will see how low or unstable system voltage, poor grounds, damaged or corroded connectors or wiring, moisture at the EPS connectors, and CAN bus noise or intermittent communication can all lead the EPS module to flag C2217 even when the rack itself is fine.
