CRP Automotive has expanded the Rein Upgraded Thermostat Hose program with eight new hoses featuring pre-mounted metal connectors. The added coverage supports popular BMW applications and provides an upgraded alternative to thermostat hoses originally equipped with plastic connectors.
A Metal Upgrade for a Known Failure Point
Plastic connectors in the cooling system are exposed to constant heat, pressure, coolant, and thermal cycling. Over time, the material can become brittle and may crack or leak, often requiring hose replacement.
Rein Upgraded Thermostat Hoses replace the original plastic connector with a metal alternative designed to provide a more durable repair while maintaining proper fit and function.
Pre-Mounted for Efficient Installation
The metal connector comes pre-mounted to the hose, eliminating the need to transfer or separately install the fitting. This ready-to-install design helps reduce installation time while addressing the original plastic connector failure point.
When the hose remains serviceable and only the fitting needs to be replaced, Rein also offers the individual metal connector (CRP Part No. CHC0609).
Expanded Coverage for Popular BMW Applications
The eight new Rein Upgraded Thermostat Hoses cover select BMW 1 Series, 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3, X4, X5, X6, and Z4 applications with 2.0L and 3.0L engines from 2007 through 2018.
The new additions are available under CRP Part Nos. CHU0460, CHU0542, CHU0546, CHU0552, CHU0566, CHU0629, CHU0632, and CHU0633.
For technicians servicing these BMW cooling systems, Rein Upgraded Thermostat Hoses combine an upgraded metal connector with a direct-fit hose assembly for a complete repair solution.
