CRP Automotive has introduced the Rein Engine Oil Separator Repair Kit (Part No. ABF0215), a first-to-market repair solution for select 2012–2019 Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with the M276 3.5L V6 engine. The kit includes a replacement cap, diaphragm, and spring, allowing technicians to service the pressure-regulating section of the engine oil separator while leaving the original housing installed on the engine.
A Solution Shaped by Technician Feedback
The Rein team at CRP developed this solution in response to professional technician feedback regarding the difficulty of removing the complete engine oil separator, also referred to as the crankcase vent valve assembly, on these applications. Restricted access to the unit’s four mounting bolts can require significant disassembly during removal and replacement.
The ABF0215 kit provides access to the affected section without removing and reinstalling the complete unit, reducing disassembly and installation time and potentially saving hours of labor compared with complete oil separator replacement.

Direct-Fit Repair Option
The cap, diaphragm, and spring are designed as direct-fit replacements for the corresponding original components. Supplied together in one kit, they provide a targeted repair option while retaining an otherwise serviceable oil separator housing.
For repairs requiring complete assembly replacement, CRP also offers the Rein-branded Engine Oil Separator (Part No. ABH0215), a direct replacement for Mercedes-Benz OE reference 276 010 03 31.
Applications
The Rein Engine Oil Separator Repair Kit is available for select Mercedes-Benz C300, C350, E300, E350, E400, GLE350, GLK350, ML350, R350, and SLK350 applications equipped with the M276 3.5L V6 engine, depending on model year and market.
