    The OE plastic coolant pipe can become brittle over time and is prone to cracking due to repeated thermal cycling and hydrolysis. The upgraded version replaces the plastic component with aluminum to provide a more durable alternative and eliminate common failure points, and includes the necessary O-ring and clip for installation.
