CRP Automotive has expanded its AAE bramd’s product line with the introduction of Remanufactured Transfer Cases for select BMW and Land Rover vehicles. Long recognized for remanufactured steering solutions, AAE now applies that same OE-driven approach to drivetrain components.
Each AAE Remanufactured Transfer Case is fully disassembled and rebuilt using only OEM components to meet or exceed OE specifications. All units receive 100 percent new bearings, shims, clutches, springs, seals, and internal plastic components. Based on inspection results, critical components such as gears, main shafts, and flanges may also be replaced with new parts to restore proper operation and durability.
The remanufacturing process goes beyond a surface rebuild. Housing halves are inspected for accuracy and critical surfaces are verified before reassembly. During the rebuild process, key measurements are taken to determine precise shim selection, ensuring correct bearing preload and internal tolerances.
Each unit undergoes a controlled break-in process prior to final testing. End-of-line testing simulates real-world vehicle operation, verifying proper torque delivery, rotation, and noise, vibration, and harshness performance. All units are pressure tested to confirm leak-free operation.
Units ship with Rein Transfer Case Fluid TF 0870 (P/N FLDF005), the OE first-fill fluid specified by the manufacturer. Units are tested with fluid in place, drained before shipping, and arrive ready for installation.
All AAE Remanufactured Transfer Cases are 100 percent tested prior to packaging and are backed by a 2-year/24,000-mile warranty. Products are supported by CRP Automotive’s in-house technical and customer service teams.
