This pencil-style drain plug features an upgraded design from the OE part and includes a captive magnet. To protect the vehicle owner’s investment, Rein Magnetic Engine Oil Drain Plugs act as a quick additional point of inspection for engine wear during an oil change. The captive magnet is made of rare earth metals and is used to attract engine wear particles that may have been missed by the oil filter. By holding onto these metal particles, it gives an insight into the health of the vehicle’s engine while preventing the particles from being recirculated and causing more damage.
