In this episode of Inside the Brands, CRP Brand Director David Hirschhorn discusses our proprietary EPS rack endurance tester — which we use to test prototypes and selected production samples.

Each test rack is subjected to 60- to 70-thousand lock-to-lock cycles, which is about the same amount of usage a vehicle will see in its lifetime.

In addition to cycling the rack repetitively, our endurance tester also monitors the ECU’s operating temperature and other variables — and checks for faults. It’s one of the testing and quality control measures used in our ISO 9001 facility to ensure that our remanufactured EPS racks all have a long, problem-free service life.
