The CRP Innovation Council is a diverse group of industry professionals that includes shop owners and experienced repair technicians.
In the years since it was founded, the group has been an excellent sounding board and has helped educate CRP about the technicians we serve — some input has even led to the development of several new products.
This BMW thermostat hose connector featured in this video is one example. Our council members reported a high failure rate in the plastic OE quick-connector. So we created a Rein Automotive brand replacement for a wide variety of models that swaps the original plastic quick-connect unit for a more durable anodized metal unit.
It’s just another product in a growing line of “Better than OE” parts brought to you by the CRP family of brands. We are currently working on creating several hoses that will have this metal connector pre-installed.
