This episode of Inside the Brands features CRP Automotive’s Shawn Jenkins discussing the installation guidelines that come with every AAE steering system part.
Even experienced repair technicians occasionally run across jobs or issues that they’ve never seen before, which is why, when you order a steering system part from AAE, installation guidelines are provided.
For example, the installation guidelines that are included with our remanufactured Ford F-150 EPS rack even include a list of which Ford racks require a PMI (Programmable Module Installation). So the technician can scan down the list and confirm that the rack requires a PMI.
And if you don’t have a J2534 device to do the PMI, the guidelines also provide a suggestion on which one to buy.
